Chase Freedom Card Review

by Hustler on October 16, 2009

Of the many Chase Consumer cards out there, the Chase Freedom Cash Visa Card is ranked on top for its cash back program. Sign up now and get $50 bonus after first purchase. The card offers 3% cash back on rotating categories such as gas, groceries, and quick service restaurants. Earn up to 20% cash back when you shop online at select merchants through Chase. You will earn 1% for all other purchases. This seem to be rock solid cash back program with groceries, gas, and restaurants(fast food) combination.

You would think that there are cards such as the AmEx Blue which gives you 5% cash back on the same category. However, the AmEx Blue is on a tier system whereas the 5% cash back will only kick in after $6500 in spending. The Chase Freedom Cash Visa Card has no such tier system.

It has no annual fee and 0% Intro APR. Length of your introductory period will be either 12 billing cycles from account opening for purchases or 6 billing cycles from account opening for purchases depending on our review of your application and credit history.

The best thing about the Chase Freedom Cash Visa Card is you get your rewards in the form of cash and not points. I personally have the Chase Freedom Cash Visa Card and I highly recommend using it for everyday purchases.
