i tried doing the $100 checking and then trying the $35 bill pay bonus but when i tried to confirm that i would get the $35, the promotions rep told me that the small print on that offer said “Offer cannot be combined with any other offer and is limited to one incentive per customer.”

if you ask me it is a bit of a misleading promotion, but at least you can get one promotion from bofa

The terms are about to get worse:
The MMA account: arns interest of 3.10% APY* calculated on your daily balance of up to $35,000.
The rewards checking: interest earnings of 5.25% APY* are calculated on your average daily balance of up to $10,000. Amounts over $10,000 will earn 2.25% APY

As of 1/1/2009, Sterling increased the fee I pay for mortgage loan collection services by almost 300%. Don’t trust them!

This is not working locally here for me in Nashville. They don’t know anything about it. The bank manager stated “they” haven’t told me anything about this promotion. She couldn’t find anything about it online. I emailed the ad to her. She refused to offer it to me.
