Etrade just updated their Max-rate checking bonus from $25 to $75.
Here’s a quick summary:
- Only apply to new customers
- Must be opened by 8/31/07
- Must deposit with at least $100
- Bonus will applied to account within 30 days.
- Must have Direct Deposit of $200 or has 5K balance to avoid $15 monthly fee.
I guess if you really want the bonus, first deposit 5K, wait for your bonus, then withdraw and close account.
