Falling Interest Rates Due to FED Cut Rate

The FED funds rate drop by 0.25% a couple days ago, and now Banks interest rates are dropping everywhere.

ING Direct went from 4.3% to 4.2% APY. With most people, all they care about is the $25 ING Bonus.

Presidential bank went from 4.9% to 4.6% APY. Personally, I’m thinking of switching to another bank because of this latest drop.

Countrywide Savingslink went from 5.5% to 5.35% APY for balance with 10K or more. This is still one of the best rates out there.

GMAC bank went from 4.75% to 4.5% APY.

Luckily, I still have my WaMu account and it’s still 5.00% APY. I’m hoping they are keeping it that way.

If you don’t have a WaMu account, I highly recommend them.
