Incredible Bank 2.02% APY has the top rate for Checking Account. It is a new online bank from River Valley Bank, Wisconsin with the high rate since November of 2009. They make it known that their mission is to keep the account competitive in the interest rate environment and not just a teaser rate. More than just a great rate, they have very good Online Banking and Bill Pay. Their External Bank ach transfer system only takes 1 day to transfer and rebate all ATM fees. You will find excellent customer services of a small town.
In order to keep their high interest rate, there is no paper checks. It’s reported that there is a hard pull on TU and EQ.
You will get 3 external account links with incoming ACH limit to be $200k daily and outgoing to be $10k daily. Limits are only for IB initiated transfers. You need to sign up for electronic statements otherwise monthly fee applies. The billpay is always free, however, wire transfer is $5 incoming and $20 domestic outgoing. You can do ACH pulls and pushes initiated from other banks.
When you sign up online, make sure to write down your account number since it’s not available in your account. Their routing number is 075911742.
