Many people such as myself use a combination of 3-5 cards to get the most cashback for our purchases. Here is a decent list of the best current cards on everything:
General Cashback Anywhere on Any Purchases:
- 2% Cashback Countrywide Visa towards your Countrywide Mortgage
- 2% HSBC Visa Weekend card
- 2% Travelocity Mastercard: *29 Annual fee after first year
- 2% Citi Visa Driver Edge
- 1.5% Blue Cash from American Express: *Rate good after spending $6500
- 1.5% Fidelity American Express: *Must have Fidelity Account
- 1.4% Emigrant Direct Mastercard: *Must have 10K in Emigrant Direct
- 1.25% Chase Freedom Cash Visa® Card
Of course, these cards are the best cash back overall on any purchases. Obviously, there are cards out there that give you 5% Cashback on gas, restaurant, and so on. I will make another list for that soon.
